The List...

The Goal List

What did you accomplish?
What did you not?
Another year's gone
with memories, a lot.

The goal list is out.
I'm marking them off.
I succeeded here...
And, here, I did not.

The year's ending soon
After I take stock,
of the goals that I've met
And, what I have not.

I'll take out my pen
Make a new list.
Working real hard
on my accomplishments.

The Von Trapp Family Children Sing "Amazing Grace"...

It is so wonderful to see such a beautiful family of singers. I love their attitude as well as their music. God Bless them greatly!

"Happy 42nd Anniversary"

Happy Birthday to my son in law Michael. Hope you have a blessed day!

Happy Birthday to my dear husband, Merrill. Here's hoping that you have many more. Enjoy your day!

Christmas Program...

Tonight, we went to the school Christmas Program that one of our granddaughters was in.

It is fun to watch the little guys. They take their programs and parts so seriously. It is such a big thing to them.

The sad thing about the programs is that it was so politically correct it really didn't remind you of Christmas. They just had a little green and red decoration. The public school isn't going to be very people friendly to Christmas even though 90% of Americans celebrate Christmas. If we don't have Christ, we don't have Christmas.

In spite of what the children could not help. They did one great job. They were so cute. Let's pray for America before we lose our most valuable remembrance.

Looking For Nativity Scenes...

I found this cute little site while shopping the web. Christmas Treasures in Blue River, Oregon sells Nativity scenes from around the world. I really like the site. You might want to check it out.

I love Nativity scenes whether they are pictures or figurines. After all, Jesus Is The Reason For The Season.

Also, if you need pictures check out Public Domain Pictures. They are free to download and use. He would like you to back link. My picture today is from that stock.

Have a blessed day!
WE CAN ONLY IMAGINE...

We can only imagine how magnificent it was the night Jesus was born. So many writers and singers have tried to get the wonder of it all across to us, but we can only imagine the glory of it all.

We weren't there when Jesus was born. The next neat event is that we may be there for His second coming or we will meet him in glory when we pass on. It is all so glorious! It will happen but for now we can only imagine.

Think about this song Ivan Parker sings, "I can only imagine."

Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday to my oldest son, Duane. Have a blessed and wonderful birthday.

Happy Birthday to my granddaughter, Lauryn. Hope you have a great day!
Naughty & Nice Christmas Lists...

"Naughty & Nice" Christmas store list. Stores that support Christmas and those that don't.

American Family Association List (afa)

Personally, I try to buy at stores that support Christmas. Yes, Christmas is a Christian celebration or holiday. 90% of Americans celebrate Christmas. We don't need to let the world take it away. We don't need to shop at stores that do not respect Christmas.

Stores are welcome to celebrate their holidays and we will shop there if we celebrate it. It is not going to happen because there are not enough consumers to celebrate minority holidays to make it worth it. Ex. Who's going to celebrate an athiest holiday? That's the reason stores don't have atheist sales. Consumers are just not going to buy. The atheists know that, so they try to break down the Christian celebration and holiday of Christmas. Let's stop it now! Jesus Is The Reason For The Season... so say so. Say... Merry Christmas! If you feel it deeply, let them know that Jesus Is The Reason for The Season.

It's time to take America back from the current tv & radio news reporters, journalists and from hollywood & sports stars if they are elitist. If they don't stand for good things... please do not support them. If we want good wholesome examples for our kids let's demand it. If we want a safe society demand it. We don't need those who think they are better or higher educated than us telling us what to do. They can live in their own little world and stay out of ours. They don't need our financial support by watching them. Support the good!

It's time for a good change. Let's make 2011 & 2012 years to remember by bringing back the good in life. Christian heritage, jobs, clean tv & media, safe homes, schools, stores and work places. 90% of Americans celebrate Christmas. Don't let the world take it away. Don't let the world dictate how we should live. Many of them live a very low & miserable life. The miserable like to bring people down to their level. Don't let them. It is not freedom to make people accept the bad things in life. It is freedom to do good and support the good things of life. Let's support the people who recognize Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Come Join Me...

Come join me with a cup of tea instead of coffee this morning. We have just witnessed an historical event. "The American Tea Party" historical event. There hasn't been this big of win and change of power since back at least 1948. At least that is what some of the commentators were saying last night.

I am so encouraged. Maybe, now we can get some positive things done.

Anyway, today should be fun listening to Beck, Rush & Hannity!

Enjoy your tea!

Coffee And A Chat...

How about having coffee and a chat? There is nothing like a nice cup of hot coffee on a cold morning. Of course, it only feels cold because we're just leaving summer. We haven't had a lot of nice warm days ... like in the 70's. It's been pretty cool the last few days.

For sure... hot coffee, tea, chocolate and soup weather is here and here to stay for awhile.

It feels so good to be working out in the cool compared to a month ago. I'm so ready for this and enjoying it very much.

Mover Of Mountains...

Faith is a force that is greater
than knowledge or power or skill,
And the darkest defeat turns to triumph
if you trust in God's wisdom and will,
For faith is a mover of mountains-
there's nothing man cannot achieve
If he hs the courage to try it
and then has the faith to believe.

Humerous Side Of A Serious Subject ... Taxes ...

Enjoy the humerous side of a serious subject ... taxes. Yes, we need taxes, but there is a limit to what is acceptable. Out of control spending is what we've got. What we need are representatives that are willing to have a reasonable budget and stay within it. Anyone that runs a household knows that you can't spend what you don't have. We are already giving too much and they want more. What we want is less spending, less legislation, jobs and a safe, free country for our citizens. Think about it!

In closing think about this... if the Congress lets the Bush tax cuts end, we will all be paying higher taxes. If they aren't fair and just let the upper income tax cuts end, we will all still be paying higher taxes because those are our job makers. We won't get more jobs and higher costs means higher taxes to make ends meet. Don't let them play the class warfare game. Jealousy and greed are never the answer!
What About All This Blogging?

What about all this blogging... is it good? Sure it's good. Is is liked? No, there are a lot of people who do not like it. What use to be the main stream media doesn't like it. Liberals don't like it. One of our political parties really doesn't like it.

Blogging and alternative media sources are here to stay unless those who do not like people knowing the truth can stop it. In all areas of the country news is reported on blogs, internet sites and cell phones before the main stream can blink an eye. Cell phone videos and pictures are taken and sent with the speed of lightening. Happenings are sent to facebook, twitter and blog sites almost immediately with updates within minutes. It's hard to keep things hid anymore.

Right now, this is a good thing because the main stream medias haven't been able to slant things like they use to. They do it, but they are losing readers, viewing & listening audiences in record numbers.

Americans like the truth. The average American is finding out that he is not the lone duck that he thought he was. Ideas are changing. People are starting to think for themselves. They are finding out that things aren't always what they seem. In fact, there is a cool article out this morning by Dennis Prager, "Conventional media take a back seat."

Well, I guess to put it simply... keep on blogging, writing, posting, and putting up pictures. You are the new media. You are fast, you got it in video and pictures and you have the education to support you. (That is if you graduated from high school or college and had English. You just missed out on the story telling journalism education.) We just want facts.

That's the way that I see it!

The Safety Bra...

Just when you think you've seen it all... something new comes along. A safety bra mask. It is really a potentially very good invention. In the event of a disaster where smoke, dust or particles are in the air it could be life saving or at least lung protecting.

Daddy Sang Bass...

Daddy Sang Bass is sang by Johnny Cash. I was reading his and June's life story. In spite of all his bad lifestyle, he made a turn around and tried to serve God in the end. I always liked his base voice.

Grandparents Day At School...

Well, actually Grandparents Day was September 12th, but my grandchildren's public school chooses one month for each grade, as well as my grandchildren's private Christian school.

Today, is my little Granddaughter Breanna's Grandparent's Day. Her class gave a very good Patriotic Program. We ate lunch together and had a very nice day!
Autumn Has Arrived...

The weather may not show it but it will be autumn today. Autumn has arrived! I'm so ready for cooler weather. The sad part is that we may not have real colorful leaves because of our dry spell. Time will tell.

Will We Get Higher Taxes?...

If you are like me, you're eyes are on the Congress to see if they are going to give us higher taxes by not extending Bush's tax cuts. For sure, it is not something that the nation needs with so many people hurting. I do not understand why they want to punish the job makers as well as the middle class. Uncle Sam need's to be put on a budget... a smaller one than he is on now.

I am so tired of the class warfare that the liberals have tried to push. Citizens are citizens and no one should be treated any different than the others. It's just too bad that there are so many people who don't realize that small businesses and higher income people make jobs and they need to make a profit. I know that if I don't pay my bills... I have major problems. You'd think all our leaders would know that they have to cut spending and live within a budget.

I think that I'm ready for the fair tax!
Rejoice In The Lord, Rejoice...

Happy Constitution & Citizenship Day America...

Today, America will celebrate Constitution Day and Citizenship Day. They are actually one in the same. Someone, decided to drop the citizenship day and call it constitution day. but it is important to remember that it is the citizens that support the constitution. They just go together.

We the people support the constitution!
The Star Spangled Banner...

The Star Spangled Banner was written by Francis Scott Key in 1814 and became our National Anthem in 1931.

The Star Spangled Banner

Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'sd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stipes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming,
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof tho' the night that our flag was still there,
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

The boy Scouts songs has all the words to The Star Spangled Banner. Check it out if you're interested.

He Reigns ...

September 11th Memories...

I never want to forget the September 11th memories. Our nation needs to remember this day, so that it doesn't happen again. We can't be lax with our freedoms. We can't let the enemy in. We need to remember who did it, and why, to keep it from happening again.

God Bless America and God Bless those who have to live with the results of the disaster and the loss of loved ones. We remember!

Fall Is In The Air...

How about a nice cup of coffee and a little chat...

It's that time of year again and we are ready for it. Fall is in the air. I am so ready and my guess is that I'm not alone with that feeling.
School's back in session, gardens are coming to an end and we are ready to finish getting our canning & freezing, gardens, yards and get homes ready for colder weather. For sure, we will have nice cool working conditions.
After Labor Day... we can start looking forward to fall and I am ready!

Labor Day & Time For A Change...

It's already Labor Day and time for a change in schedules. The garden's almost done, the kids and grand kids are back to school and cold weather will soon be back. It's time for a change and most of us are ready.
Blessed Be The Lord God Almighty...

I'm Getting Ready...

I think that I'm getting ready for Fall! The garden is starting to look ragged. Some things are turning brown and starting to die and it's just getting about time.

We always know... we are so excited to see each new season as they come and go. Signs and changes bring seasonal changes. Kids are starting back to school. The fairs are over. The gardens are ending production. Soon, the leaves will change.

For now, we will enjoy what summer we have left because it won't be long!

World's Longest yard Sale...

Today, starts the World's Longest Yard Sale... it is 675 miles long on St. Rt. 127 from Michigan to Tenn. Four days to shop from August 5 to 8, 2010.

Great time to take a road trip and shop along the way!
More New Animals On The Block...

Well, now I'm the proud owner of five laying hens. My son just brought me a small chicken house and pen for the Rhode Island Reds. I love those chickens. Now, I need a rooster. Rhode Island Red roosters are fun to watch. They just strut around proud as a peacock.

I told my mother this morning, "If you know someone who needs to get rid of their goats, cow or pig... just send them my way." Joking!!! She just laughed.

We'll see how we get along with the chickens. If not there's always the stew pot!
Until then... the eggs will be much appreciated.

You know... a goose would be nice! lol!
Grab Yourself A Cup Of Coffee...

Grab yourself a cup of coffee and let's get this new week started right. How can we function without our coffee? We love our early morning coffee!

Well, a new week is before us and lots of things to get done... housework, gardening, visiting and business. Nothing really different and nothing really new... just work that needs to be done.

Well, yes, there is something new... kittens. I now have 9. Four around the house and five at the barn. Of course, one around the house is completely wild so it will probably end up at the barn with the others. Barn cats are great mousers. Right now, I'm working on keeping them happy at the barn.

The house cats (outsiders) will keep the mouse population down around the house. There are two little black ones and a gray one with white feet. Of course, I still have Tuluse, my white cat with blue eyes. She's a beauty!

The sad part of living in the country is the kyotes. They kill the cats. They are such a menace. I don't like to be out too much after darke because they come clear up into our garden area.

A New Baby Zedonk...

There is a new baby Zedonk born at the Georgia wildlife preserve. I have never heard of a Zedonk, so this is very educational for me. I just thought it was worth sharing with my readers.

A Zedonk is the cross between a male zebra and a female donkey. Both animals are in the horse family.

Start the Morning With A Cup Of Coffee...

Let's start the morning with a cup of coffee. Monday's always seem to start a little slow even though we are eager to get the week going and accomplish all that we have to do.

I found this neat little site this morning while I was looking for some good news. The Turning Trash Into Cash Issue of Happy News. Ideas for selling things that you might already have around the house. Now that's a good way to start off the week.

Are You Cool Yet...

Grab a cup of coffee and let's chat...

Are you cool yet... if you are, it's because you live in a really cold climate like Alaska or you're inside in the air condition. Air conditioning is a real blessing in the hot humid summer months. Personally, I don't use it until it is extremely hot and humid. I have my air conditioner set on 74 degree. Fans work great until the air is needed. But, we all have our personal choices.

I was just thinking that six months ago we were deep in snow, so we can appreciate these hot summer day a while longer. We can enjoy the flowers, the fresh vegetables and casual relaxation of a summer evening.

Enjoy the day!

Something Very Different For The Garden...

Now, this is something very different for the garden to enjoy having your coffee on. A cement sofa... what next? Concrete furniture is being made in the UK for the garden. It is suppose to be comfortable. I'd like to see and sit on a piece to make my decision. It just might be a new phase of garden furniture.

Personally, I like the less bulky looking cast iron, plastic, or cement furniture that we have now. But, ... we are making more outdoor rooms in our yards so the concrete sofa could work into a patio setting and look quite in place. So, it's my opinion, it's just a matter of time until it hits the American garden scene.
Yippy, A New Search Engine...

Grab a cup of coffee and try Yippy, a new search engine. It is free, simple and has several interesting features. Besides being able to search, there is a favorites menu for just your favorites, games, news and radio plus more. I did some searching and found it to be just as good as the others that we have available now. Plus, I like the feature. So, you might want to check it out!

Something Good To Share...

I've been looking for something good to share since this is my chatting over coffee blog. I've got a nice tall cup of coffee and a little time to search. Please join me.

You might like this...

Last week, I ran across these little houses. I found it quite amazing how small a space some people can live in. One site is Bungalow in a Box and another one is The Tiny House blog. I'm sure there are more. If you have time, you might want to look at what they offer. I looked at some of the garden buildings at Lowe's that were the same sizes as these houses. Actually seeing the sizes they are talking about, I find it unreal that someone can live in such small surroundings, but several are doing it. In the near future it might be the answer to homelessness and possibly a way for the government to handle single & couples low income recipients. There is a cost advantage and it can be done. That's already a proven fact. Who knows? It might be a cheap answer to helping those who need to live on less.

Please come back and the next time we have coffee, I'll try to find something else of interest for you.

Have a great day!

This Land Is Your Land...

Fighting Poverty...

The Heritage Foundation has a great article today about fighting poverty. I totally agree that the greatest way to fight poverty is for fathers to be married to the mothers of their children. Our nation has changed so much. So many of our homes are broken or the mothers have never married the children's father and the government is supporting the vast majority of them with one program or another as well as welfare. This is not fair to the children or the American tax payer. Bad choices should not be rewarded. The best answer to this is marriage, but maybe the best next answer is making sure that the fathers and mothers support their children equally. This would mean if they aren't going to be married that they share parenting, income and all other costs of raising the child. It should not be a reward that the tax payer picks up. I'm not talking about the death of a parent because that is not a choice and that is a legitimate need. I am talking about choices and consequences for bad actions.

This subject is going to have to be dealt with soon because of our large public debt. This is one of America's sky rocketing costs. This is one of the issues to consider when we get around to deciding how to cust government costs.

I will be commenting on other cost cutting issues soon...
Storms Everywhere...
Yesterday afternoon and into the night we had storms everywhere. Lots of rain, rising water and lightening.

I think one of the biggest news items of the day is the lightening strike of the King of Kings statue in Monroe, Oh. Sometimes it is referred to the Touchdown Jesus statue. I like to refer to it as the King of Kings statue. I think it is neat and I am glad that they are going to rebuild it. It is certainly a landmark in Oh. It does make a statement without any words. I always look forward to seeing it when I travel south on I 75. Check out my link to read the article in the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Looking For Good News...

Why is it that all we get from the main line press is bad depressing news? I just wanted to start the week off looking for good news. So, I think I'll share a little bit of what I've found.

Everyone loves diet and weight articles. So, how about this... "Can You Be Healthy At Any Size?" I think that this is a good article. Have you ever notice that heavier people laugh a lot and that, so many times, skinny people look sad and grumpy? I've heard lots of comments along those lines. Now, I'm not talking obese, I'm talking chubby... fluffy or just a little plumper than what the medical community wants. Just something to think about...

Are you having trouble sleeping? Check out, "Six Simple Tips To Help You Sleep." I think this was a sensible article on sleep helps. For some reason, the older I get the more I have trouble sleeping. I think our fast paced society has a lot to do with it and the many stresses of the day.

This is sooo cute! The LA Zoo has a new baby giraffe. It's a boy and his parents are Neema and Artimus. They are housed in the giraffe habitat. Giraffes are able to stand shortly after birth and they will grow around 4 ft their first year of life. When grown, they can reach 18 ft. Now, that's one tall animal.

"You Are Who You Work For" is a thought provoking article on your work life. Most people look for a job doing what they don't mind doing to earn a living. Everyone is different, so career choices vary as well as workforce desire. To be really happy in earning your living wage, do what you like. When you really like what you do it isn't work at all.

I knew it... we older people tend to get happier with age. Check out the results of a survey and the article, "More Wrinkles, More Smiles." Yes, we can celebrate every new gray hair. Getting old isn't so bad.

Well, I think I'll end with the good news for now, there's more out there you know. We just have to find it.

Have a good day!
Here I Am To Worship...

Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that you're my God...

Getting Things Done...

I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and checking out the noon news. I'm thinking of things that I could share today.

I've been taking down my winter curtains and putting away a few of my winter garmets until fall. I use little clear sweater garmet storage bags and then put them in my large plastic storage containers in my little outside storage building. I did put them in my garage, but my husband got me this nice building which works well. The only thing I don't like to store in there is my Christmas decorations. When the snow is flying and it is really cold out, I don't like to be rummaging around an outdoor building. I'm ready for indoor things. So, after the garden is completely planted and the flower beds are doing good, I will rearrange my storage building and put the Christmas decorations back in the garage.

Yesterday, I received 5 different knock out roses that I ordered plus 3 white out roses. There really isn't a white knock out rose, but the same breeder that bred the knock out roses developed another rose that is called the white out. I can't wait to get them planted. I will do that later today. It is almost impossible to not raise a knockout rose. They bloom long and profuse. They also don't have a lot of rose disease problems. I'm so excited about getting them in the ground. I'll get pictures later in the season when they are blooming.

One bit of news that I found this morning is quite interesting... it seems there are some Stanford University students who have developed an inexpensive electric car. It runs about 30 miles on a 4 hr. charge. That could really be nice for short trips. Of course, it won't go very fast, but it could be a nice pleasurable trip. This little car is comparable to a dune buggy, but looks more like a flat deck lawn mower. You won't be buying it for it's looks, but fuel savings on short trips.

That's about it for now... have a great day!
One Neat Product...

I found this one neat product line that I think you would like. It is the Power Nap Machine.

Click on the box to check it out. Right now they have a limited time free US shipping offer!

I am seriously thinking about getting one. I know of others who have used it and say that it is great. I would love to hear from some of you who have used it. It is neat to find products that assist in a good quality sleep.
Wonderful Trip...

How about chatting over a nice cup of coffee? I haven't mentioned it, but we had a wonderful trip to Amish country in Ohio. We drove miles through the country looking at crops, gardens and the flowers. We also stopped in Kidron to visit Lehman's Hardware Store plus several shops.

We ate at some of the areas best places. It was a nice easy going trip over the Memorial Weekend. If you go check out the many different resturants... it is nice to try something new and it gives those merchants a chance to service new customers.

We usually stop by Heini's, but there were so many people in line that we didn't go into the cheese shop. We did get one of their great tasting ice cream cones. We will try to go to the store the next time we go.

I really don't like to travel over holidays anymore, but my husband won me over. I like it when there are less vacationers, less traffic and more time to casually shop. I guess we all have our preferences. It was a nice get-a-way for us!
The Year Is Half Over...

I can't believe that I'm saying this already, "The year is half over!" How time flies. So much has happened this year with all the economic unrest, unemployment and natural disasters. We never know what a day holds.

I'm ready for some good news!

Right now my good news is that I'm getting my garden in. Most of it has been planted, but we have had to deal with more rain than usual. I don't mind, hopefully, it will last through the summer. It is a little later than usual so that means cooler harvest times. I can handle that. It's great to can and freeze produce when it's cooler.
Lillian Vernon Catalog...

I was looking over the Lillian Vernon catalog that I posted about a few days ago. There are some pretty neat things in there esp. in the kitchen and laundry areas. For some reason, I always look in those sections for what's new and available. I guess that's because laundry and meal preparation are always with us. I like anything that makes work easier, frees up time or saves money.

We still have our rains so I've still got a little time to work on other chores that need to get done. As soon as it's nice again, my daughter and I need to finish planting the garden. I did manage to get tomato plants in Saturday before it started raining.

The corn and onions are up nice. The carrots aren't through yet. Hopefully, they will be through soon. i used a planting strip for them. It's just getting exciting out there.
Family Times...

Yesterday, we had a family dinner. Everyone gathered in after church family. It is so much fun to be with family. It is about as much fun putting it all together as sitting down and eating at the table. We have a large family and everyone brings food into share. They put the finishing touches on when they get here, so most of the adults were standing and working around in the kitchen. Some holding the babies or talking to the little children. We told telling stories, jokes and shared all kinds of advice and thoughts. It was just a fun time. Of course, the meal might not have been as quick as possible, but most don't seem to care.

After we cleaned up, we walked in the garden. We looked at the vegetables that were up and discussed the flowers. Each of us shared our own thoughts and plans for our gardens this year.

Last night, my husband and I sat by a campfire on our little island by the pond. Just two little old people on an island by themselves watching the fire and enjoying being together after a big day.
"Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread., and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen"
Considering Your Wealth...

Grab yourself a cup of coffee and let's chat a little...

I think we're all a little concerned about the economy especially since it involves us all. We're in this together. We all want to see those around us be able to work and feed, clothe and house their families.

We all know that taxes and expenses are way to high. We manage. We go on. We also learn from past experiences, history as well as the present. We know that we can't overspend and that we need to cutback until times are better. Right now, if possible, is a pretty much stay as you are situation.

We buy what we need and some of what we want, but not as much. We are learning, we are trimming down and we will make it. That's why I thought I'd share this little saying that I ran across today with you.

"In prosperity do not rejoice too much
and in adversity be not downcast."
-Seneca
God is always there for us in the good and the bad times. Be happy in the good times and don't take them for granted and remember in the bad times that things can be better. Sometimes, we can make adjustments to make things better. Life always has good times and bad... we can learn from both.
Have a great day!
Arm Chair Shopping...

I ran across this today and thought that I'd share it with you. I always like free shipping. Lillian Vernon is offering free shipping with a $50 or more purchase. I really like online shopping because it sames me gas, searching for what I want and lots of needed time for other things.
They always have some different and fun things to buy.

Getting The Flower Gardens In Shape...

I've been busy working and getting the flower gardens in shape. I've been week whacking and pulling weeds. Mostly weed whacking since I cut my hand. I'm so pleased. It has been so windy that I haven't been able to use Roundup. I don't like to use chemicals, but I've had an over abundance of weeds.

It is so neat to see the flowers growing and blooming. The iris are really beautiful right now as well as the roses.

Hopefully, I'll have them in great shape before I get back to the vegetable garden. I really need to plant more vegetables, but the rain has just kept right on coming.

Have a great gardening day!

Lazy Way To Flowers...

My lazy way to flowers is buy them or order them and have them sent. I know that I love receiving flowers. There is just nothing like knowing someone cares!

Good Friday...

"For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

The Passion film clips are so vivid but true. The song is the Via Dolorosa. May this touch your heart as it has touched so many.

Blessings to you this Good Friday!

Check This Out For Real American Spirit...

Sarah Palin will host Real American Stories on April 4, 2010 on the Fox News Channel. I watched this video clip and love it. It is so nice to see real American every day people who have overcome. How refreshing it is.
Man In Black ...

Remembering some of the good Johnny Cash songs... Man In Black

An Explanation...

If an explanation is in order... here it is. I always did love Johnny Cash's voice. It was a nice clear bass. I will probably share a few of his songs when they seem appropriate. He did make a turn around towards the end of his life. I think his & June's trip to the Holy Land affected them a lot.

Here's hoping you enjoy the songs that I share.

I Love Books...

I love books and I am always looking for books to add to my library. No, I don't read all of them from cover to cover because some of them are reference as well as how-to and cook books.

I found this site that has some out of print books. I know how frustrating it is to look and look for an out of print book. Anyway, it's a neat site. I just thought I'd share the site with you.
