In remembrance of 9/11 we viewed scenes of that tragic event. We prayed for the loved ones left behind, the workers, our country and our leaders. We thank God our President and leaders are working to keep us safe and keep the fighting away from our shores.
We remember and go over the events so that we don't forget.
The pain diminishes but the reality that it could happen again is always present. As with other wars lessons are learned, the price is paid and time heals the wounds.
We remember.
