Our Father and Our God, we praise You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve. Yet we know all is not right with America. We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we face. Convict us of sin. Help us to turn to You in repentance and faith. Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace. We pray today for our nation's leaders. Give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it. You have said, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." May this be a new era for America, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord. This we pray in Your holy name, Amen.

In Observance of 9 -11's Tenth Anniversary...
I'm going to show a series of pictures, thoughts and prayers this week. I am doing this to help keep the true history alive. We need prayer for our country. Some would try to play down the attack, but the truth is that it did happen, a terrorist group did it and we are in a war because of it.
My thoughts are if you read an article, hear a radio program, see a tv program, or organization that isn't willing to print, show or tell the truth... they aren't worth wasting your time supporting, watching, listening to or reading. If they lie or glaze over one truth, they will many and that is not what Americans want. We want true history as it happened.

The Year Is Half Over...
I can't believe that I'm saying this already, "The year is half over!" How time flies. What a year... so much has happened this year... economic unrest, unemployment and natural disasters. We never know what is going to happen from day to day.
Now for the good news...
One thing I know for sure, "We serve a great God who holds the whole world in His hands and He loves us!" Plus... we are fortunate to live in the best country in the world. We are blessed!
I have a great family and I enjoy the beauty each day holds! I am blessed!!!

Looking rugged and gray.
The siding was broken.
With places decayed.
The roofing was bent
Looking Rusty and torn.
Holes were a plenty.
It looked forlorn.
It’s color all gone.
Leaving only a tint.
It’s only imagined.
What color it’s been.
Hidden secrets
Remain of days gone by.
Never revealing
Changing times and why.

April Showers Bring May Flowers...

I think that we've all been waiting for Spring to arrive. We know that we need to have the rains before we can have the flowers. Time is marching on and in time more flowers will come. The wonderful thing is this... we can enjoy the beauty of the tulips, daffodils and crocus until the whole garden springs forth with bloom.
